Sovereign Square Leeds maintenance contract

Combined Energy Solutions (CES) has been awarded a 12-month maintenance contract at Sovereign Square, Leeds. We will provide a maintenance service to all VRV Systems (air conditioning & ventilation equipment) on five floors of this commercial office space in Leeds city centre. The contract is for the first year of the building’s occupation.

The Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services team provided the mechanical, electrical and public health provision on this project.

Stageoach bus garage contract

CES will be working with bus operator Stagecoach, having been awarded a 12-month contract for servicing and maintenance.

This will cover all heating plant & equipment across nine bus garages in the London region. Servicing will include various heating equipment and systems such as Ambirad.

Jardine Motors Group  maintenance contract

Since April last year Combined Energy Solutions has been working with the Jardine Motors Group. CES has recently added a further five showrooms to the current portfolio.

The Jardine Motors Group has a network of over 70 vehicle dealerships and workshops throughout the UK, working with more than 20 manufacturers. CES works with the Group across their showroom, workshop and office facilities, including maintenance of air conditioning, heating, ventilation, electrical and BMS systems.

London Residential Management contract for CES

CES have been awarded three further maintenance contracts with prestigious property agent London Residential Management (LRM).

LRM are a property management specialist based in Central London, working with a range of corporate clients, management companies and portfolio owners. These three new contracts, along with two more which are currently under negotiation, add to our growing portfolio of properties. The CES team provides a range of services for Mechanical and Electrical plant equipment at a number of LRM sites.

Paul Burton Group Chief Executive Briggs and Forrester Group

The Briggs & Forrester Group has announced some important changes to its senior team, which will take affect from 1st February 2017.

Paul Burton has been appointed as Group Chief Executive of Briggs & Forrester. Paul was previously Managing Director of the Engineering Services business. Mike Stanton will remain Executive Chairman of the Group and continue to work closely with Paul and the Group Board.

Forrest Holidays servcing contract for CES

Combined Energy Solutions has a new contract with Forest Holidays, carrying out mechanical plant servicing in their woodland vacation locations across the country.

Forest Holidays provide holiday accommodation in luxurious wooden cabins at nine sites across the UK. The contract will commence in March.

Zero health and safety accident rates

2016 was a very positive year for the Briggs and Forrester Group’s health and safety record. We continued our excellent performance in an industry where working to keep everyone safe is of paramount importance. Even with increases over the last few years in project turnover, number of man hours worked and number of workers, we have still seen a year on year reduction in accidents and lost time injuries.

Mike Stanton Briggs and Forrester

Briggs and Forrester Group Chairman Mike Stanton recently highlighted the growth and success of the company during 2016.

"The Briggs and Forrester Group has had a busy and successful year, with turnover increasing to £183m, up from £160m in 2015. Secured orders are at a healthy level and are supported by a good pipeline of potential opportunities going forward.
During the current year we have secured our largest ever project, Principal Place with Multiplex, with a value in excess of £40m."
