This month across the Briggs & Forrester Group, we have been collecting for local charities. Each region was set with the challenge of donating much needed food and supplies to a local food bank, homeless centre or children’s hospice in time for Christmas.
At our Northampton head office, we chose to support the Hope Centre who work to relieve poverty and tackle the causes of homelessness in Northampton, by giving people a hand up.
The Briggs and Forrester Special Projects team have also been working with The Hope Centre for over a year, helping to update their Hope Enterprises facility in the town centre. In total 25 boxes of food, 20 bags of clothing, and £236.28 was donated!
Our Warrington office chose to support Runcorn and district foodbank and raised £150 which was converted into 3 boxes and 16 bags of food and supplies.
CES at our Mansfield office chose to donate to the Sherwood Forest Food Bank and collected 3 boxes of food.
Our London office donated 2 boxes to Hackney food bank who have seen a significant increase recently in those making use of the food bank.
Bristol, Exeter and Cardiff created 4 hampers for Children’s Hospice South West to gift to the families of those whose children will be at the hospice over Christmas.
Last but not least, our Birmingham office managed to fill 3 wheelie bins full of clothes and toys for Rainbows Hospice charity shops and also created 3 hampers for the children at the hospice to enjoy over the festive period.
We’re proud to support these worthwhile causes and the excellent work that they do!
